“Nothing to complain about, good hotel”
2 adults + 6mo baby. Hotel if very far from downtown, which we knew about and I don’t really understand how ppl complain about location. Check map before you book a room. It’s a lovely, long walk from subway. Took a detour to get food from papa johns, then went back to the lake and enjoyed little … Plus
2 adults + 6mo baby. Hotel if very far from downtown, which we knew about and I don’t really understand how ppl complain about location. Check map before you book a room. It’s a lovely, long walk from subway. Took a detour to get food from papa johns, then went back to the lake and enjoyed little picnic. Hotel can certainly fix welcoming sign, some letters are missing... gives bad impression. Check in process was reasonably smooth, except they forgot to mention deposit and went straight to charging it. ( tho we received some drink coupons for “inconvenience”) We had special request a-la baby crib, which was provided. Thank you Room was clean and lovely, balcony with garden view. ( didn’t regret garden view as lake side seemed quite windy). Room D331- bathtub is leaking (in case if hotel reads it, forgot to tell them when were checking out). Bed is big and comfy. Good breakfast, they did their best to get some extra clean veggies for the baby ( not seasoned or anything). Children’s playground located inside the restaurant, which is convenient for parents with older kids. Unfortunately weather wasn’t in our favor, so outdoor pool was too cold to swim, indoor one actually required swimming hats (???) so couldn’t enjoy it either. They had some activity by the pool in the evening with free snacks and singers- very lovely. (Saturday)

“Great architecture”
Nice stay, large rooms, bar and restaurant inside serve good at reasonable prices. Wellness area with swimming pool and sauna are quite good but the pool had not so clear water :-( The only negative part is the location, which is far away from everything! No shops, restaurants, local etc

“Depends what you look for....”
Hmmmm.... not sure how to start or what to write.... this time.... Well the hotel has friendly staff, check in and out was easy. The room was clean, bed was good and breakfast offered asian and western food at ok-isch level. But... ues here is the but.... the hotel is in middle of nowhere, so bring… Plus
Hmmmm.... not sure how to start or what to write.... this time.... Well the hotel has friendly staff, check in and out was easy. The room was clean, bed was good and breakfast offered asian and western food at ok-isch level. But... ues here is the but.... the hotel is in middle of nowhere, so bring a car. The german type restaurant was close and thus only two dining options left.... If you like to swim, you must bring a swim cap (obligation) or you have to buy one for about 90-100 rmb. There are exact 12 sunbeds near outside pool, with no mattras on it and guess what.... all occupied.... so think before you go, enjoy being isolated or bring a car and go explore.

The hotel gives a great first impression, situated on an island in a man made lake, it feels like a world of its own. The lobby looks like a futuristic hunting lodge and the layout of the hotel is like a spaceship, with design elements to match. However the charm wears off when you start to look at the details, which is decidedly four star. As to the food... OMG it’s 3 star at best. Don’t get the room service express menu, the una-don was worst I have ever had, and I have a high tolerance for traveler food. The location and the many event areas it has makes it a good choice for corporate kickoff events or team buildings, but frankly I can’t think of other reasons I would want to stay there personally or with family.
