“we had the best time in Zaragosa”

Last week we stayed for 4 nights in Apartamentos Sabinas Alfonso. We can higly recommand a stay in one of the appartements. We enjoyed our Attic room and especially the fantastic view on the Pilar cathedral, we could also enjoyed the sun on our big private terrace. Also the breakfast in their nearb… Plus

Last week we stayed for 4 nights in Apartamentos Sabinas Alfonso. We can higly recommand a stay in one of the appartements. We enjoyed our Attic room and especially the fantastic view on the Pilar cathedral, we could also enjoyed the sun on our big private terrace. Also the breakfast in their nearby hotel was very good and healthy. But we also enjoyed cooking in our own kitchen. Zaragosa is a nice city to visit for a few days. We could reach everything on foot, since the location is as central as you can get. There were also a lot of restaurants and nice bars nearby our appartement. We would definitely recommand a stay here. Thanks to all the staff!

I have never had such a great view so such an affordable rate! The apartments are fresh and modern with stunning views of the Basilica and relatively quiet except for the morning bells (the apartments are on a parallel street to the main zone so no noise from late night bars or anything) I've seen… Plus

The apartments are fresh and modern with stunning views of the Basilica and relatively quiet except for the morning bells (the apartments are on a parallel street to the main zone so no noise from late night bars or anything) I've seen others say don't drive as it's so central but there is a main car park no more than a 4 or 5 minute walk from the apartments which we used without any problems ... although maybe we cheated as we used sat nav to get there? Highly recommended!

Yes, as everyone said and we can check it looking at the map, it's hard to find better location in Zaragoza. It's almost on the main square del Pilar. We had a small balcony with a marvellous view of the Basilica del Pilar. The price for this location is more than affordable. Unfortunately, I couldn't name any other thing that fascinated me during my stay in these apartments. The room was rather spacious, air-conditioned and clean, we didn't have any kitchenette (due to the type of our room, I suppose), only a microwave and a frige. The bathroom was ok, but the condition of plumbing fixtures indicates that it should..I can't say renewed, but, for example, I couldn't have managed to fully close the shower door. Furniture was also rather old. Another thing was a Wi-fi connection. Well, I don't use the Internet every second of my vacation, my initial purpose is travelling, but I simply need the Internet to check the weather, museums timetable, itinerary or whatever. I booked a room with Wi-fi, but I didn't have any. Only few times for a couple of minutes. Later, I saw a review indicating that fact, unfortunately it was after my stay there. We informed the staff of the Hotel Sauce (couple of minutes walk from the apartments, you check-in and check-out there), they said that they'd check that problem. Anyway, Wi-fi didn't magically appear. Also, on our first day, the cleaning lady two times opened the door without any knocking. One time can be a mistake, but two..sounds like habit. If you want to live rignt in the heart of Zaragoza and you are not very demanding, pick these apartments.

“Great location, rooms not so great”

There is no doubt that this is the best location you can get when in Saragosa, but the quality of the accomodations leaves a lot to be desired. Our room was facing a back yard, and there were trash bags full of trash on someone's balcony or window sill right next to our window. We couldn't open win… Plus

There is no doubt that this is the best location you can get when in Saragosa, but the quality of the accomodations leaves a lot to be desired. Our room was facing a back yard, and there were trash bags full of trash on someone's balcony or window sill right next to our window. We couldn't open windows or even blinds during our entire stay because it was disgasting. Also, the walls are so thin that we could hear people next door talking, taking shower, flushing a toilet, so the quality of sleep was not that great. They serve breakfast in a hotel a couple of blocks away, which didn't casue any problems for us - it was nice to walk down empty streets in the morning, and the breakfast was very good, too. I have mixed feelings about this place. Probably, I wouldn't have stayed there again. However, our friends booked a double room and got a triple room with a stunning view of the cathedral and were more than happy. I guess don't book a twin room here.
