“Excellent short break”

This was our first visit, very impressed with location, accommodation and food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends. We were very impressed with singer/pianist Lillia Grace, she is very talented.

Beautifully renovated with amazing grounds.We stayed in a deluxe room.on the 2nd floor.The weekend weather was exceptional so unfortunately the room was very hot..maybe air-conditioning needs to be considered. Beautifully renovated with amazing grounds.We stayed in a deluxe room.on the 2nd floor.The weekend weather was exceptional so unfortunately the room was very hot..maybe air-conditioning needs to be considered. Food was excellent, we ate in the Market kitchen mainly and one night in The Travelling Duke just as a comparison, but prefer the Mkt Kitchen as you can choose how much or little you want to eat. One point from the market kitchen which is concerning...we were asked about allergies and it was noted down ..strawberry allergy..but when my vanilla cheesecake came out it was topped wth strawberries so where does this information go or get passed to as it was obviously ignored...so of you have allergies BEWARE.

“Most enjoyable experience”

We stayed for a long weekend for festival of icons, really enjoyed the entertainment, very well done and all the acts were good. We stayed for a long weekend for festival of icons, really enjoyed the entertainment, very well done and all the acts were good. We ate in all of the three restaurants but found the food in the travelling duke wasn’t the best, some of the food was like warm and over cooked and tasteless. The Brasserie 32 was lovely and the staff were lovely, especially Rebecca. The food in the Market kitchen was good and I felt best choice for breakfast. The staff everywhere were absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. We tried to have lunch in the Brassey Cafe and having ordered we waited one and half hours but it didn’t arrive, which was disappointing. We found the beds extremely hard, personal choice I know but if you don’t like hard beds maybe say before you book. The rooms were clean and spacious and we did have to ask twice for toilet rolls as rooms service forgot to add them, also the dressing gowns were missing, but the rooms were very clean and furnished well. We enjoyed lovely walks around the grounds and enjoyed the pool and hot tubs.

This was our second holiday with Warners, but first at Heythrop, The location is absolutely beautiful, hotel is well kept and tidy, facilities are good, food is unfortunately no more than average. Most of the food is warm but never hot. First issue is the drink prices, I do feel that being charged £3:50 for a bottle is coke cola is expensive to say the very least We went to the theatre on three nights, good comfortable seats and with good view to the stage. The resident group are of a good quality with a very competent female singer. The Phil Collins act was very good and entertaining The Tina Turner act was absolutely dreadful and managed to empty 80% of the theatre in 10 minutes The Bill Joel act was enjoyable Decades of Devias was of a good quality and deserved a much longer slot In conclusion The Tina Turner amateur act needs to go, and sort your bar prices out before people wise up
