This was our first visit to Heythrop Park and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Our standard room was clean comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and efficient from all reception, bar, entertainment and restaurant staff. Heythrop has a choice of restaurants, we had our breakfasts in the Market Kitchen Orangery and our dinners in The Travelling Duke. Both were very good, the food was of a high standard and plenty of variety. The Warner Theatre Company kept us well entertained with daily quizes and evening shows, in addition there were great performances from Steve Hewlett, ventriloquist and Marc Bolton, singer impessionist and comedian. In view of an enjoyable stay we have already booked a visit in 2025.

“Very good but too large and too many stairs.”

The place is lovely with large grounds It was a normal Warner experience, which was good. Food excellent, entertainment okay and service good too. However, the layout of the hotel was extremely confusing as it is set over 4 floors, i.e. 1st floor to -2 floor over the different wings’. The hotel, apart from the room, was very cold. It only warmed up when the sun came out (half way through our stay). The shower water flow was a mere trickle. Glad we tried this location but won’t go again.

We ate in the Travelling Duke last night my eye was caught by a young girl who was behind the bar. She never stopped working, cleaning tidying bottles, generally making use of her time. This was our first visit to a Warner's Hotel and we found the rooms to be comfortable, clean and well presented. We had both breakfast and dinner in The Travelling Duke and both were of a high standard and plentiful. We thought the staff were extremely helpful, and friendly. We booked afternoon tea on arrival which was very nice, although it was a little disappointing to see food on the carpet under the table! We liked the entertainment, and thought Duncan Heather was very good. The Gin Tasting was brilliant and so was the guide. For a young man he was extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay and would probably try another Warner's Hotel.
